More airlines now using NAIA Terminal 3’s new shared premium lounge

NEW NAIA Infra Corp. said 34 international airlines operating at Ninoy Aquino International Airport are now connected to the Bureau of Immigration’s Advance Passenger Information System, allowing them to transmit flight-related passenger information to immigration authorities ahead of arrivals and departures.
The connection brings the country’s main gateway closer to faster and more secure passenger processing, NNIC said.
Eleven other airlines have yet to complete full Passenger API connectivity and begin regular transmission of flight-related passenger information, based on updates from the BI.
NNIC, the private operator of NAIA, said full airline compliance with the BI requirement is needed to support advance passenger screening, improve processing at immigration counters, and help enable the wider use of BI’s immigration e-gates at the airport.
The e-gates were procured by NNIC as part of NAIA’s modernization program.
The BI has directed all remaining international airlines operating in the Philippines to complete their Passenger API system connectivity and begin full and regular transmission of passenger data by June 30, 2026.
NNIC said full airline participation will help maximize the benefits of automated border control systems, reduce processing times, and improve the overall passenger experience at NAIA.
It added that it will continue coordinating with the BI, airlines, and other airport stakeholders to support faster, safer, and more efficient passenger processing at the country’s main gateway.
