Malakihang taas- presyo ng langis, ipatutupad ngayong Martes

KINUMPIRMA ng Department of Energy (DOE) ang malakihang oil price hike na ipatutupad simula bukas, Martes, Hulyo 21, 2026.
Sa online briefing nitong Lunes, ipinaliwanag ni DOE Secretary Sharon Garin na bunga ang pagtaas ng patuloy na gulo sa Middle East.
Aniya, hindi tumitigil ang pakikipag-usap ng DOE sa mga kumpanya ng langis upang makapagbigay ng unti-unting pagtaas ng presyo (staggered price hikes) para naman makatulong sa mga tsuper at operator ng public utility vehicle (PUV).
Ayon sa datos ng DOE, ito ang pinakamataas na maaaring itaas sa presyo ngayong linggo:
🔺 Gasolina: Aabot hanggang P3.65 kada litro
🔺 Diesel: Aabot hanggang P10.68 kada litro
🔺 Kerosene: Aabot hanggang P11.77 kada litro
Idinagdag pa ni Garin na patuloy pa rin ang fuel subsidy program ng gobyerno para sa mga kwalipikadong PUV driver, bilang patunay diumano na hindi nawawalan ng kontrol ang administrasyon kahit pa lumalala ang alitan sa pagitan ng United States at Iran.
