PCol. Marlon Santos designates as acting spokesperson of Chief PNP Nartatez

THE National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) welcomed the designation of Police Colonel Marlon R. Santos as Acting Spokesperson of the Chief, Philippine National Police (CPNP), Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez, Jr., who also serves as Ex-Officio Commissioner of NAPOLCOM.

Col Santos also serves as the Senior Police Assistant to the Ex-Officio Commissioner. In this role, he works closely with the Commission in advancing reforms focused on accountability, discipline, strategic communication, and stronger coordination between the NAPOLCOM and the PNP.

Col Santos also previously served as Provincial Director of the Cavite Provincial Police Office and Regional Chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group’s Regional Field Units 4A and 7.

In his current functions, Col Santos conveys the directives, policies, and official positions of General Nartatez to the public and the media, while helping communicate key programs, operational developments, and reform initiatives of the PNP.

NAPOLCOM Commissioner Ralph Calinisan expressed confidence that Col Santos would help further strengthen public trust in the police organization through credible and people-centered communication.
