SM City Batangas proudly marked the 128th Philippine Independence Day with a meaningful flag-raising and commemorative ceremony, uniting local government officials, uniformed personnel, and civic organizations to honor the nation’s history while celebrating modern Filipino identity.
The event was graced by Batangas City local officials headed by Mayor Marvey Mariño, alongside Vice Mayor Alyssa Cruz, Councilors Claudette Ambida, Aileen Montalbo, Andrea Macaraig, Ched Atienza, Ailin Dimacuha together with SK Federation President Sherwin Tejada, and Barangay Pallocan West Captain Romy Catilo.
Showing solid community solidarity, representatives from the Batangas Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Coast Guard, Boy Scouts of the Philippines, and Girl Scouts of the Philippines were also in attendance together with mall tenants and affiliates.
By creating a space where tradition meets modern culture, SM City Batangas reaffirmed its role not just as a lifestyle destination, but as a steadfast partner in community building and promoting national heritage.
