PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) Chief, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., emphasized the organization’s commitment to discipline, accountability, and professional conduct, citing recent administrative actions as part of ongoing internal cleansing efforts.
From January 1, 2026 to March 31, 2026, a total of 245 PNP personnel were dismissed from service, reflecting intensified efforts to uphold organizational integrity. The highest numbers came from NCRPO (67) and NHQ (40), followed by PRO 11 (20) and PRO 12 (15), while other units posted lower figures.
Meanwhile, from January 1 to March 31, 2026, 765 administrative cases were resolved with penalties imposed. Suspension (341) was the most common penalty, followed by dismissal (245) and reprimand (115), with the majority involving PNCOs.
PGEN Nartatez reminded all personnel, “Keep your standards high and act with discipline and serve with integrity. Always remember that accountability is paramount in every action to earn the trust of the people,” he emphasized.”
These measures reinforce the PNP’s strict zero tolerance policy under its Integrity Monitoring program, demonstrating sustained efforts to strengthen discipline, professionalize the organization, and promote transparency under Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.
