OVERSEAS Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families are free to experience and rediscover the rich stories, heritage and culture of the Walled City this May 25-31, 2026, ahead of the Migrant Workers Month celebration this June 2026.
The exclusive event dubbed as "Pasyal Pamilya" is a joint initiative of the Department of Tourism (DoT) and Intramuros Administration in cooperation with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
It aims to give returning OFWs a warm homecoming by providing a meaningful opportunity to connect with their heritage and create lasting memories with their families within the historic Walled City.
To enjoy free entry to Fort Santiago and Centro de Turismo Intramuros, OFWs may present a valid OWWA ID or Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) and can bring up to four (4) companions. They may also avail of the free guided daily tours in the afternoons.
The exclusive treat for OFWs and families forms part of the lined-up activities for Migrant Workers Month in honor of their sacrifices and immense contributions to the socio-economic transformation of our Bagong Pilipinas.
